Jill Lofald - Head Coach

Coach Lofald graduated from UMD with a major in Theater, Communications and English. She started teaching at Denfeld in the fall of 1984. She has been coaching the Denfeld Speech Team since then and brought back the Duluth Debate Team in the past ten years. She has directed over 30 plays and musicals at Denfeld. She has been honored to be awarded the Greg Irons Teaching Award and also represented Denfeld as a Minnesota Teacher of the Year semi-finalist. She is currently retired from teaching but continues to coach and serves the western district as a school board member for Duluth Public Schools.
